About Eliana

“I created BITB so that a WOC (woman of color) could walk through a bookstore and see her face on the cover of a book. I also want to inspire anyone no matter of their race through curated event design.”

When Eliana went to business school to get her MBA she knew she was destined to open a business, but it wasn’t until after constantly being asked for planning advice and tips by leading vendors in the event industry that she realized planning events was what she was born to do. She and her team at ellyB Events pull inspiration from everything, including styles and trends, conversations with family, and even searching for content for blog posts. An extrovert at heart, Eliana loves spending time with her clients and getting to know them throughout the event planning process. Many of her clients become her life-long friends and she absolutely loves the fact that she gets to spend each day creating the most memorable events of her clients’ lives.
